St. Blasius Church Balve – Romanesque clarity with a striking silhouette The St. Blasius Church has shaped Balve's Kirchplatz since the 12th century. Its Romanesque hall structure appears simple and powerful, while the octagonal dome from the early 20th century gives the building a distinctive presence. Inside, you'll find calm proportions and medieval fresco fragments – a harmonious place for a short break on your tour through the Hönnetal. https://www.balve.de/kultur-und-tourismus/kultur/sehenswuerdigkeiten/pfarrkirche-st-blasius

The parish church of St. Pankratius in Stockum is the Catholic church of the village of Stockum. The parish was first mentioned in documents in 976. The current three-bay hall church was built in the 13th century through early Gothic conversions of an older Romanesque basilica. Inside there is, among other things, a beautiful baptismal font from 1220. I found the church open.

From the bridge over the Lenne you can see the Lennestau nature reserve in Werdohl-Lengelsen. Since the Lenne hardly flows at all here, there are often beautiful reflections on the water surface.
