The castle's inner courtyard is very beautiful. It also features a permanent stage where, among other things, large-scale symphony concerts have been performed (e.g., Carmina Burana with the choir of the Märkisches Jugendsinfoniechester – magnificent!).

This adventure site is located at the Waldstadion in Neuenrade and is part of the forest adventure trail that winds through the forest. The forest school has been redesigned as an interactive adventure site, offering visitors – including school classes – the opportunity to explore the local flora and fauna in a playful way.
