The striking brick church is accessible to visitors during the day as an open church. The highlight awaits inside: the colorfully designed windows above the altar. When sunlight shines through, a wonderful play of colors is created, bathing the interior in a very special light.

The hut was built in the year 2000, it stands in a place where hiking huts already stood before. The first was erected on this spot in 1865 and the second in 1965. The Schutzhütte Eng is intended to offer hikers not only a resting place but also protection from rain and bad weather. It is nice that a guest book is available.
