Piast Castles Trail – Great strongholds of Sudety
The shelter has mezzanines where you can "hang out." When I used it, there was a ladder of questionable stability. It was lying against the wall.

Just a tower, but is it a viewing tower? Perhaps so – with a view of the surrounding treetops.

An inconspicuous, somewhat forgotten peak in the Ołowiane Mountains (625m above sea level), just a minute or two from the Piast Castles Trail. A beautiful, green (especially in summer) peak with an exquisite panorama of the Karkonosze and Sokole Mountains. There used to be a viewing tower here, and a shelter nearby, but that's long gone. Today, this place is less popular, but also quieter. Chances are that when you get here, you'll be alone with nature.

I recommend the route between Myślinów and Muchów through the hills. https://czerwonymszlakiem.blogspot.com/2025/03/kaczawa-1-mikro-wczasy-dzien-1.html

Less than 100 meters from Skopiece you will reach a pleasant viewpoint.

Shoe Tree, Komarnicka Pass Komarnicka Pass in the Kaczawskie Mountains. According to information obtained online, this is "Into the Blue," a work by local artist Magdalena Osak created in 2013 on a withered cherry tree, on which painted shoes were placed, reaching for the sky. Currently, the work has a different shape; a second one has been added to it, and tourists often leave and hang their own. The idea is quite attractive and interesting.

The active church of St. John the Baptist is a 16th-century Gothic building, although a church in the village certainly stood earlier. It has a so-called hall structure with a massive, square tower located on the western side. Its baroque finial was most likely made by local Protestants.
