Antlia Pumping Station Along the dike from Hattem to Zalk, on the border of Gelderland and Overijssel, lies the Antlia pumping station, designed by Ben Looye. Antlia means paddle wheel. The pumping station can pump water back and forth between the IJssel River and the Gelderse Kolk. With its crystal-like shape and gleaming steel, it stands out in the landscape. The modern pumping station is located on an island behind the original 1926 pumping station, which was built into the dike.
