The Old Town Hall houses many of the Rauma Museum's exhibitions. The Kistupuad museum shop is also located there. The old town hall was built in 1776. The ground floor served as a police station, the upper floor was reserved for the city administration. The old town hall has served as a museum since 1902. There are only two 18th-century town halls left in Finland, one in Rauma and the other in Porvoo.

The Keskustelupuisto is a contemporary art project of the Lönnström Art Museum in Raumas Kalliokatu. The project by the artist duo Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen involved 21 people from Rauma, who together created a park on an empty and bushy plot of land. The cozy Conversation Park is a unique and personal park with numerous details, from plantings to a stick horse stable.

The Rauma Maritime Museum is the most modern maritime museum in Finland and offers many opportunities to study maritime history. A comprehensive collection of museum items has been assembled. The collection includes parts of wrecks, ships built by Finnish shipyards, historical items such as sailors' books and other papers. The museum also allows visitors to get hands-on experience of piloting a ship as there is a ship simulator called Jenny.

Marela is the local museum of a wealthy shipping family. It shows the family's life in the early 1900s. Marela also hosts several temporary exhibitions of the Rauma Museum. Marela was owned by the Granlund family from the 1870s until 1906. Original Granlund-era furnishings include decorative Marela tiled stoves, doors, ceiling paintings and paneling. Marela has been a museum since 1982.

The Church of the Holy Cross has a rich history dating back to the 15th century. It was originally built as a monastery church of the Franciscan monastery Rauma. While the exact age of the church remains unknown, historians believe that the current stone church was completed between 1515 and 1520. An interesting fact about the Church of the Holy Cross is that it served as a Lutheran church after the dissolution of the Franciscan monastery during the Swedish Reformation. It became the main church of Rauma Parish in 1640 when the nearby Holy Trinity Church was destroyed by fire.
