I not only recommend the tunnel dug into the rock, but also the entire section of this road that goes to Castellar de N'Hug.

Logistics point and crossing of local roads from Alpens, Borredà and Riera de Merlès. There is a well-known restaurant there and it's a good place to stop on the way and get some refreshments.

Public transport options directly to Sant Jaume De Frontanyà are limited due to its remote nature. While the natural environment is appealing, road cycling routes are generally not ideal for dogs, especially on longer or more challenging rides. The asphalt can be hard on paws, and the pace of road cycling is often too fast for dogs to keep up safely. It's best to leave your furry friends at home or opt for walking trails if you wish to bring them along.
