Up at the house, walking through their yard (on the public footpath)... A brown and white Collie, sneaky little doggy. No growling or barking, but as you walk by him he'll have a little nibble of your ankle, caught me but my boots saved me. If you have little ones or are afraid of digs, I'd skip this bit.

This is a beautiful and fascinating church is located right beside the Afon Mynwg (River Mynwg). The graveyard is overgrown, as is normal these days, to allow for the wildlife to thrive during the summer months, but this just adds to the charm of the old tomb, and headstones. The inside is just as lovely, with some old memorial stones and nice woodwork. A real old church that dates back to around the 12th century. Particular treasures are the 15th-century painting of the Virgin Mary near the pulpit and a 9th-century tombstone.
