A lovely beach at low tide. At low tide you can also enjoy the walk around the headland to the SE, and you'll find yourself at Priory Bay Beach which is well worth a visit. Leave your bikes on the promenade so they don't get sandy. There are also public loo facilities here. The footpath through towards Seaview asks for you to dismount from your bike and walk. It's only 75m or so. Photo courtesy of Visit Isle of Wight.

The great thing about Seagrove Bay is that you can't get there by car so it is often quieter than other beaches on the island. The water is shallow and often calm so it is a great place for a swim. It is also dog friendly all year round so a perfect place to run with your four legged friends.

St Helen's Old Church is an intriguing piece of 800 year old history. Although now little more than the tower remains, it watches over this lovely calm beach, popular with families, paddleboarders and kayakers. The seaward side is painted white and acts as a navigational aid for seafarers. There is even a concrete WW2 pillbox built into the church.

Cyclists will have to push their cycles over this causeway due to the rough surface, narrow width and steps.

The Causeway in St Helen's is a walkway that spans over the water, connecting the village to the Fort and offers some superb views across the Solent. It's only revealed during low tide, so check the times here before you go https://tides.willyweather.co.uk/se/isle-of-wight/st-helens.html=
