Open-air fish market, created by the expansion of the harbour in the 19th century. The Vistrap is open daily, except when there has been a storm at sea. Early in the morning, you will find the freshest North Sea fish and Ostend grey shrimp here. The Vistrap is the only place in Belgium where you can buy shrimp directly from the fisherman. Source and info at https://www.visitoostende.be/nl/vistrap You will also find information boards and pillars on site.

Historic building, which today houses, among other things, a popular restaurant for Belgian cuisine and seafood. Typical historic seaside resort style with turrets and light facades, located directly at the tram stop of the Kusttram.
