Piazza Vecchia is the Renaissance heart and symbol of Bergamo Alta. Born in the 15th century at the behest of the Venetians, it connects the medieval streets of the city and is surrounded by some of the most iconic and historic monuments in the area.

You can easily get there by car, there are various simple and shaded paths in the woods, various meadows and tables for relaxing, a water fountain, a small playground for older children, excellent views of Bergamo, an excellent restaurant. For those who want to walk, it is possible to reach 4 croci by completing a loop of about 6 km and 300 meters of elevation gain. Perfect place for families. I don't think anything else needs to be added, have a nice day!

A very small library, but certainly of more historical than practical value. Interesting to visit if you like the old-fashioned style of the upper town.
