The promenade of Balatonfüred is one of the most beautiful promenades on Lake Balaton and invites you to linger with its shady trees, cafés, and views of the lake. Sculptures, flowerbeds, and the marina along the shore create a special Mediterranean flair.

Near Vinyéza, a permanent karst spring whose water is "supposedly drinkable". Its surroundings are trampled by tourists. A twin spring can also be found nearby. Its water flows into the Cuha stream.

The Balatonarács marina (often considered part of Balatonfüred) is a real gem for sailors and peace-seekers on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. As Arács is a district of Balatonfüred today, the boundaries often merge, but the harbor area there has its very own, somewhat more exclusive charm.

The statue of Rabindranath Tagore in Balatonfüred (specifically in the Balatonarács district) is far more than just a monument; it is the heart of a special connection between India and Hungary.

Balatonfüred is far more than just a bathing resort – it is the „sanctuary“ of the northern shore and is considered the most elegant town on Lake Balaton. Walking through the streets, you immediately feel this charming mix of aristocratic history and modern sailing lifestyle. Balatonfüred has been known as a spa town since the 18th century. This is mainly due to the carbonated healing springs. In the middle of Gyógy tér (Healing Square), you can taste the slightly sour, mineral-rich water directly. It is said to be particularly good for the heart. The town houses a world-famous cardiological rehabilitation center. Here you can stroll, watch the sailboats in the harbor, and enjoy the view of the Tihany Peninsula. In August, the promenade transforms into a wine route, where local winemakers serve their best Rieslings and Rosés.

The 2 windmills, nearly 185 years old, which are uniquely intact in the country, give a truly authentic experience, thanks to their careful care. The Horizont Sealing Site is also a sight in itself, which also functions as an open-air museum with a blacksmith shop. The entrance is also unique: we arrive in the courtyard of a private house, where we can receive a very warm welcome, the place is especially bike-friendly. Among the mills, we can visit the "Helt" Mill - Independently - to which we are given a key. The Fennsík and the Mills also provide a wonderful photo theme with the Bakony mountains in the background. It is wonderful how these ancient buildings are cared for, this can be classified as impressive, and even more so the experience, based on which the thought is formulated: ...I will come back here again...!
