One of the best viewpoints nationwide, but it's definitely in my TOP 10. At least for me: its condition, structure, location, surroundings, services, accessibility, and history are all among the best. An extra is that there's a viewpoint keeper, a cordial, kind lady who even treated me to a coffee. But its history is also extra: it was created in 1935 during the regency of Miklós Horthy. The lower part is built from the Balaton-felvidéki sandstone used as the foundation for local construction. It was reopened a few years ago, at which time it also received a wooden extension. Thus, we can enjoy a 360° panoramic view above the canopy level. Next to the viewpoint, there is also a mini gallery, a small shelter corridor, and a separate keeper's building. It distinctly bears the architectural features of the Balaton-felvidék. The viewpoint is closed in the evening, but there is no entrance fee, and the gallery is also free to visit. A rare and beautiful testament to how if a city strives for its values, it creates value. Primarily for this reason, it's one of my favorites. It's also a stamping point for the Kéktúra and other hiking challenges, but we can reach it with a short walk. If you're in the area: don't miss it!

It can only be reached on foot, as there are steep stairs leading up to the organs. You can leave your bike at the Kaán Károly Tourist House. From here, you can find this unique natural wonder just a few steps away. Follow the blue OKT sign. It will be a fantastic experience!

The full-length statue of the famous Hungarian actor István Bujtor (1942-2009) inaugurated on the 71st anniversary of his birth (created by the sculptor Ádám Farkas, winner of the Mihály Munkácsy Award). István Bujtor's great passion was sailing, and as captain of the Rabonbán he won the Hungarian championship five times.
