The heath was white where we were, but the heath is also worth a visit in winter. A great place!

The dam is located right at the beginning of the tour from the 'Auf der kalten Hude' parking lot at the underpass of Lüneburger Straße. The sound of the rushing water is very pleasant. There are several seats where you can listen to the rushing sound, which is very relaxing. A visit is highly recommended 👍.

The Waldgasthof no longer exists! The buildings have all been converted into apartments and (as far as I know) are owned and lived in by five families.

It's only a short distance, but I've never actually met anyone here except the farmer.

On weekends, you can enjoy a nice slice of cake with your children, feed the animals, or play in the straw. But even as a leisurely break, you can quickly charge your e-bike or refuel.
