Zeno was elected Bishop of Verona around 362. Legend praises his care for the poor and sick. Zeno earned his living by catching fish from the Adige River. St. Corbinian of Freising was among the first devotees of Zeno in our country. Zeno is depicted as a bishop in pontifical robes, holding a book and a staff. He also holds a fishing rod and two fish (unlike St. Ulrich, who is usually depicted with only one fish). He is invoked for protection against floods and general dangers posed by water.

The parish church is a remarkable church for this small town. Originally probably late Gothic in the 15th century, the church has undergone alterations throughout the centuries. The most significant change to the interior was the Rococo period. A stop on your cycling or hiking tour is definitely recommended. The collegiate and parish church of St. Zeno is a little gem. Originally Romanesque, it was later remodeled in the Baroque style. It's worth a stop on any bike tour, as there are many beautiful little details to discover.

The bridge is finished and even has a bike path (with pedestrians). However, it doesn't run all the way along the B15; it's better to use side roads.

OVV Storchenkeller The brewery cellar of the former Storch inn is a barrel-vaulted brick building and was built around 1880. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public. Old town hall From 1434 to 1936, the seat of the Isen magistrate. This town hall was built after 1700 with a stepped gable and flanking gable turrets and was used as a town hall until 1936. From 1936, the building served as a school and fire station. The cellar was used as a detention cell. The model for the figure of the goddess of peace Eirene on the gable and the Isen coat of arms were created by the sculptor Max Heilmaier (1867-1923) from Isen, who also helped design the Munich Angel of Peace. The Isen local history museum has been housed here since 1969. The museum is definitely worth a visit. Market fountain/war memorial The fountain with a sandstone Marian column was also designed by Max Heilmaier around 1920 as a war memorial. The inauguration took place on June 29, 1923.
