Top-notch bike path: good asphalt, and even better: magnificent views over the Salzhaff waters. It's prone to wind, so it's best to pay attention to the wind direction.

Anyone approaching Rerik should take this detour: the old fishing village appears across the water. The promenade takes you directly along the water to the harbor and pier.

For over 100 years now, the Molli has been running on the approximately 15 km long route from Bad Doberan, via Heiligendamm to what is now Kühlungsborn. Back then it was used as a convenient means of transport, today it is used as a cult holiday experience - the steam locomotive is a must for all ages when you are on holiday here on the Baltic coast. Because unlike normal trains, the Molli - spa railway is not only used to get from A to B, but also to experience a bit of history.

St. John's Church in Kühlungsborn - the first cycle path church in Mecklenburg The fieldstone church was built in 1220 by the nuns of Parchow. Its special feature is the wooden bell tower (in its current form from 1680), which was already standing like this before 1500. Around 1400, the church was extended to include the Gothic choir and the vault. The triumphal cross group and the Madonna figure date from around 1400. Local families immortalized themselves in the 42 baroque stained glass windows in the choir windows around 1660. In 1963, the EULE company (Bautzen) built a new organ for this church (11 sounding registers on two manuals).
