The old hospital of Sant Miquel was founded in 1773 at the behest of the city's provost, Tomàs Vidal i Rei, considered the forerunner of the Indians. The building, of considerable size, consists of a rectangular body with two floors arranged around a cloister. On one side is the chapel dedicated to Sant Miquel, the name of the 18th-century hospitals of Catalonia. Noteworthy is the image of Sant Miquel on the high altar in the popular Baroque style, a work of the local workshop of Casa Fuster. Sculpture with an impersonal name in the roundabout at the entrance to the village. Lined with scale-like stones in different colors, it looks like a multifaceted, entangled sea creature with great visual impact. Source: https://www.poblesdecatalunya.cat/element.php?e=14043

I was there in mid-April and it was a great experience. Despite the large number of people, you could still enjoy everything in peace. It's probably different in the high season.
