🔥 Grill spot at Römersteinturm – Pause in the middle of the forest 🌳 A beautifully located grill spot with several seating options and a fire pit, ideal for a longer break on the tour. 🥾 🥪 You can take a cozy break here before heading back through the forest. If you want to grill, you should of course check beforehand if fires are currently permitted. 🔥 🌿 Quiet spot, lots of forest around and just right for resting your legs for a bit.

I didn't find my Alpine hiking boots and trekking poles to be wrong. If it's wet and slippery, I wouldn't take the path. It's partly very narrow and in some places you could feel like you were rolling down the entire Alb. But that's also the charm in dry weather.... The path is mostly sloping towards the valley side.

„You will find more in the woods than in books“ was written in our book of records by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (1090 to 1153) in the 12th century. His reasoning for this: „The trees and the stones will teach you that which no man will tell you.“
