In August 2025, the second miners' cross, erected in 1966 by the Landsweiler Miners' and Ironworkers' Association, was re-erected at this location. It is intended to be more visible to the public. The first cross dates back to 1892 and was erected to commemorate the first, successful miners' strike in 1889. Today, it can be found next to the parish church of St. Donatus in Landsweiler.

The Petrystube is the starting point for this tour. The tour has beautiful views. Mango the whole way is a concrete highway because of the farmers who have to go to their fields.
