Kamień—or Kamień nad Rzepedzią—is located at an elevation of 717 meters above sea level in the Beskid Niski Mountains. The peak itself isn't exactly on the Main Beskid Trail if you're hiking it, but it's worth a detour, as the rock formations are beautiful. (If you want to climb to the top, you'll have to leave the paths—for the hungry—otherwise, just look from the path.)

A shelter among meadows and thickets, immersed in that specific silence with birdsong and insect noise in the background. Powered by solar panels, with a wood stove, good water from a well, a shower and outdoor privies. Inside, a charming atmosphere in the dining room downstairs, only mattresses upstairs. When I stayed overnight, there was only the Host, helpful and discreet.

Rzepedka (708 m above sea level) is one of the most scenic peaks in the Low Beskids. We will reach the peak following the trail of the good soldier Švejk from Szczawne. You can leave your car in front of the church. The old Lemko name of the peak is Rożynkania, meaning a horn-shaped mountain. From the top you can see the Low Beskids, the Bieszczady Mountains, the Sanocko-Turczańskie Mountains and even the Tatra Mountains.

Trains only run in the summer season. I saw a direct TLK connection to Krakow on the list.

Church of St. st. Nicholas in Rzepedź, is located at the end of the part called Rzepedź-Wieś, on the Rzepedka stream. Access/access from the railway station: along the road towards Szczawne, after passing the church from 1982 on the left. and a small chapel, there will be a left turn towards Rzepedź-Wieś and a board of the Wooden Architecture Route. From the turn to the church about 1200m, the church is on the right side of the road. The current Greek Catholic filial church of St. st. Nicholas was erected in 1824. Renovated and rebuilt in 1896 (...) The building represents the north-eastern type of the Lemko church, the towerless variant (according to R. Brykowski), also known as the Osławice church.
