This open-air museum was opened in the 70s. Here, on an area of 2 hectares, there are many monuments of Pszczyna's wooden architecture. The oldest is the manor granary from Czechowice from 1784. A neo-Renaissance building located on the northern side of the market square, adjacent to the Evangelical-Augsburg church, and has served as the seat of municipal authorities for three centuries. A palace complex that evolved from a 15th-century Gothic defensive castle into an elegant residence through multiple reconstructions in Renaissance, Baroque, and French Baroque styles.
