Truly stunning view from this lookout tower - of the archipelagos on the Storuman lake. On a nice, clear day, it is possible to see all the way to the Norwegian border to the west!

I definitely don't want the place to come across badly for me, I was there too short a time for that. Of course, there are restaurants, hotels, a bathing beach, a nice tourist information office, and the nicely located campsite. Those looking for peace and quiet will certainly be very well looked after here.

The small café is not always open, but if you are on the island it is really worth a stop. The small museum on the upper floor has collected a lot of things from the surrounding area - everything to do with school, baking and harvesting. And the Sami bear graves. Of course, everything is only in Swedish.
