Every time I cycle I admire this Gothic ⛪, but I haven't visited it yet because it's always closed. I'll have to go inside sometime.

The monument was erected in 1961 according to the plans of the architect Marko Šlajmer, and the author of the bronze statue of a naked young man with a message in his hand - a courier - is the academic sculptor Stane Keržič. The monument was declared a historical monument in 2003 by act and has the status of cultural heritage of local importance. In 2007, the bronze courier was stolen, most likely due to the relatively high value of bronze both domestically and internationally. Now in its place stands a copy, which is not made of bronze, of course.
