Robidišče Trail Center

Highlight • MTB Park

Tucked away to the left of the road here is the Trail Center with a washing station, an e-bike charging station and a kiosk. At the latter, you can buy trail vignettes, trail beer (craft from a regional brewery (Reservoir Dogs), Apocalypto series is highly recommended - e.g. Grim Reaper) and small dishes and coffee. A seating area rounds off the wellness program. The vignettes can be booked for different periods and "uphill" variants. There are "pedal", "e-bike" and "shuttle". Periods are 1, 2, 7 days and a year (the latter only for pedal and e-bike). The prices for the day range from € 5 to € 15 to € 35 (shuttle). There are 5 trails in 2021: Fat Hans (easy - green); Fit Helga, Log Yeah, Schuma (medium difficulty - blue) and Napoleon (difficult - red). The trails lead through wooded areas and contain roots, stones and narrow rows of trees. The first three starts just behind a gravel parking lot on the street, the other two are a little further away and can be reached via a gravel path. Opposite the parking lot is the end of the small skill park (two drops, tables and roller). Depending on the trail, a piece of narrow asphalt road may still be used to reach the shuttle points. Pedaling uphill is popular between 200 and 250 vertical meters with up to 15%. The shuttle driver knows the route very well and is typically fast on the way.

The three trails start right at the edge of the forest, directly at the parking lot. As a green trail, Fat Hans is beginner-friendly and winds its way through the forest for about 1.6 kilometers and 186 meters of depth.

Always keep right and you stay on it. The first blue trail that branches off from him (straight ahead to slightly left) is Fit Helga, which ends at the shuttle pick-up point after 2 kilometers and 192 meters of depth.

If you first follow Fat Hans, then a few meters later Log Yeah also turns left. The trail is 2.1 kilometers long and has a depth of 211 meters. It ends a little below the shuttle point (if you take the shuttle).

The trail is incredible. Thanks for the tip. I got in at the hunting lodge. A bit difficult to find as the entrance is a bit overgrown.

Napoleon Trail

Highlight • Trail

If you follow the small gravel path from the road towards the signs, the first trail after the cemetery is the red trail Napoleon. It is the most difficult trail in the trail center (as of 2021). At the beginning a little flat and supposedly harmless, it becomes quite demanding in the course with "off chamfer" sections on the steep slope. There are also roots and rocks. The trail is 1.9 kilometers long and has about 164 meters of depth.

Found a branch across the trailhead, suggesting it's impassable. A very interesting area, but it's a shame it doesn't seem to be maintained.

We found multiple crashes just before the trailhead. It's impassable. I don't think it's been maintained for a while. It's a shame.

It's also possible with touring bikes, if you can maneuver them safely. Concrete path uphill, very steep for a short time (approx. 50m); alternatively, you can use the built MTB trail downhill. It's fun and has a few small jumps.

Great MTB route; level advanced/expert, as the access is very narrow. Fun route, steep here and there, but fairly moderately descending. Lots of curves with small berms and some jump and drop options, max. approx. 30cm high. Overall very natural and rated S1/S2.

Currently (2023) the trails are closed. You can still get down, but there are many trees and branches lying around

Surprisingly good, built with love - big thanks to builders! In need of some maintenance since the latest storm, but almost completely ridable. Very fun trail.
