Špičák Bike Park

Highlight • MTB Park

The Špičák bike park is the first bike park in the Czech Republic. The first freeride route was cut into the slope of the Špičák in 2007. Since then, the park has been developing steadily. It now has six routes. The IXS European Downhill Series has already visited here, which alone speaks for the quality of the routes. But it's not just experienced racers who get their money's worth; beginners can also improve their riding technique on easier routes or in the skill center.

This is what it looks like, for example:
Black Friday Line (komoot.de/highlight/2593756)
Struggle Line (komoot.de/highlight/2593757).

Opening hours from June to October:
Sunday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Black Friday Line, Bikepark Špičák

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

Longest route in the Špičák bike park. Like everything there, more for advanced users. V.a. in the lower half strongly blocked with stones, but overall also with some fast corners and berms. Some jumps, wooden drops, but all of which can be avoided or have lighter variants. There is this one gap jump over a stream, which is not too difficult, but requires a certain speed in the approach. In the lower third, three gap jumps following one another in quick succession, but very well coordinated, which are not suitable for everyone. Not driven but also possible here.

Excellently constructed trail. I'd say it's graded S2 in parts. Very good for gradually getting used to it and practicing. At the end, there's a beautiful trail descent to Sušice, which, with its dry-stone walls and vegetation, almost feels like Italy :)

Great trail down from Cherkov, although the Hanasteig is definitely sexier ;-)

It's best to ride downhill from the tower (west to east). It won't go uphill without carrying. I'd say it's a mix of S2 and S3.

Uphill: The S3 section is too blocked and steep to ride uphill. If you enjoy carrying, you can go up here. Downhill: S3 is aptly classified here
