Beautiful, green place - a dam with a pond; very quiet and peaceful - hard to believe that it is so close to Zielona Góra! The source of the Pustelnik River is just west of here, hence the name "the source of the Pustelnik".

Since the 16th century, there have been three separate estates in Ochla, which was reflected in the division of Ochla into Lower, Middle and Upper. In 1788, a new palace and a park were built in Middle Ochla. In 1930, the estate was divided into parcels, and the palace ceased to serve a representative function. In the years 1968-1972, the palace underwent a major renovation, adapting it to municipal apartments for 14 families. The former palace park was sometimes used to organize outdoor events. In 2017, the park was tidied up and revitalized. One pond (originally there were two) and several hundred-year-old trees have survived from the old layout.

A lake created after a former clay quarry. From the west, you can reach it by a road made of concrete blocks. There is a viewpoint and benches there. On the north side, there are several neglected clearings with a place for a bonfire or barbecue.

I ate a banana here on the bench and enjoyed nature. It's really very quiet here. I recovered well.

I recommend stopping here and having a sandwich by the water's edge. The air is very natural here.

The pond was created by damming the stream that flows past. A small bridge leads to a small island with beautiful white benches. Also on the island is a stone with the inscription: Maria Island 1867 and a crown. It is intended to commemorate the visit and the bond with Duchess Maria von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach. Her husband was the brother of the King of Prussia.
