Beautiful waterfall (approx.15m) and hollowed out stone. Also worth a trip in hot weather, as the path runs in the shade and you always follow the watercourse (cooling off included).

Wildly romantic route through reeds, past palm trees and along the stream - mostly in nice shade, but sometimes a bit demanding (be careful because of wet shoes on slippery rocks)

Equipment recommendation: waterproof hiking boots, one(!) hiking pole, no backpack or a small, close-fitting and insensitive backpack without hooks and eyelets. Why? A) The path is partly not easy to walk, if you can step into the mud or shallow water without worry, it becomes significantly easier. B) besides reeds, there are also thorny vines that can easily shred sensitive clothing and backpacks. C) there are passages where you have to squat deeply or go down on your knees to get through. A bulky backpack is extremely bad here - believe me - I had a large backpack with me. D) a pole helps to stick it into the river to maintain balance. But two poles tie up too many hands for the route.

Beautiful spot but hard to reach and not really worth it. U catch some scratches and bruises along the way to the end.

We walked the red route to the waterfall at the beginning of November 2023. There was a lot of water and we balanced from stone to stone so as not to get wet feet. That was no problem. However, you should be careful that the rocks in the area where the rope hangs that you can pull yourself up on can be slippery and that you need some stamina. Unfortunately, we had to watch the use of a rescue helicopter from very close up. An elderly woman had had an accident there. The tour guide on the island tour had already told us that this is not an easy hike.

The path to the waterfall is only suitable for experienced hikers. Sturdy shoes are a must. There are several places where you really need to have a sure footing. There are two places where you need a rope to help you. At one point you go up about 2.5m.
