Oyter Lake

Highlight (Segment) • Lake

A beautiful path that always runs right on the shore of the lake. The bog floor is very good for running, so here are some joggers on the way. The traffic noise from the nearby motorway disturbs a bit the nature experience.

Fischerhuder Wümmeniederung Nature Reserve

Highlight (Segment) • Natural Monument

A small path that is not stored in Komoot runs parallel to the main path but very close to the shore of the Ellisees. There are always nice spots on the small lake here. However, you have to be careful not to drift into the closed area of the nature reserve of the dry sand grass Achim. Unfortunately it is very badly signposted where you are allowed to go and where not.

Oyter See Beach

Highlight • Beach

Nice little area with many recreational opportunities and kiosk.
Day parking 2 EUR. Unfortunately, the highway is ubiquitous and the noise in the background is always audible.

A small moorland with a few ponds, surrounded by a rustic forest. Currently (May 2025) very dry, and it's questionable whether the moor can truly survive under these conditions.
