The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Martin is a Baroque hall church. When it's open, it's well worth visiting the winged altarpiece, an 18th-century triptych attributed to a group of Cologne artists. The organ and the church's decorative figures are also worth seeing.

There is evidence that Kirchsahr had a church around 1302, but probably as early as 1105. In any case, it was mentioned in 1266 as one of the eight mother churches that were under the control of the Münstereifel monastery. After a fire in 1677, the church was classified as dilapidated in 1680. In 1681, the bachelor Michael Obliers donated 99 thalers for the renovation of the choir. This was restored in 1684. The current baroque hall building was then built from quarry stone in 1729 and 1730 with funds from the Münstereifel monastery. The dates 1300 and 1730 carved into the later flat arch of the west door allow conclusions to be drawn about the age of the previous building. The interior measures 18.55 by 5.30 meters. The light blue paint was replaced by white in 1963. Source: Wikipedia
