The wine village of Kinheim with its districts Kinheim-Kindel and Kinheim-Höhe is located in the large Moselle loop between Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel in the "Middle Moselle-Kondelwald wine and holiday region". The wine village is stretched out and nestles against the steep vineyards of the Moselle. The wine village offers a wealth of romantic corners, half-timbered houses and old wine farms that are worth seeing. In 1976, during archaeological excavations, the remains of a Roman villa and a sculpture of the ancient Gallo-Roman protective god "Sucellus" were discovered.

Lösnich, a romantic wine-growing town in the heart of the Middle Moselle, is very idyllic and traffic-calmed, offering its guests peace and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Between Bernkastel-Kues and Traben-Trarbach, the town nestles in the loops of the river and vineyard landscape in the index finger of the so-called Moselle glove. The village has been shaped by wine-growing for centuries. The vineyards are called “Lösnicher Försterlay” and “Lösnicher Burgberg”. The town's attractions include a late Gothic cemetery chapel, the neo-Gothic parish church from 1869, the Kesselstatt office building and current rectory, as well as an impressive number of half-timbered buildings and stylish winegrowers' houses from the founding years and the Art Nouveau period.
