Centuries ago, before the first tourists climbed to the summit, Góra Dylewska was considered a mystical place by the local Sasin tribes.

The central point of the main hall is a huge, interactive table with a dynamic terrain map. Using precise projections and lasers, you can follow the phases of the battle of July 15, 1410, step by step. You will see how the formations of both armies developed, at what moment Vytautas' Lithuanian light cavalry moved, and exactly where Jagiełło's final counteroffensive took place!

The entire obelisk, 30 meters high, is actually a masterpiece of reinforced concrete construction! Due to limited funds and time, the project's authors – sculptor Jerzy Bandura and architect Witold Cęckiewicz – had to build the core out of cast concrete. Only the outer facade was precisely clad with slabs of natural, gray granite, perfectly imitating an antique, raw monument.

The tower on Góra Dylewska is not the only one here - this one is higher! But it is a relay TV station with a tall mast - a bit too modern for this area... but it makes an impression - thin and tall. There is also a shelter and tables for a picnic next to it, so everything is fine.

The remains of the old chapel, which stand here on a grassy hill, provide an interesting insight into the history of the region. The walls made of fieldstones seem almost like a natural part of the landscape, surrounded by tall trees and green meadows. A quiet place that exudes a certain dignity despite its ruins.

The Grunwald Monument stands imposingly on the vast site, a memorial whose striking shapes and clean lines are a striking reminder of the Battle of Grunwald in 1410. There is something majestic, almost solemn, about the atmosphere here. Strolling around the square, you can feel the importance of this place in Polish history. It is not just a monument, but a place where history comes alive. The massive stone and metal structures add a certain drama to the scene. From here, the view sweeps far over the surrounding landscape, which was once the scene of this decisive moment in medieval history. The monument is not just a memorial, but also a place of reflection and commemoration, offering visitors a special connection to history.

Here, you're truly close to nature. The Französischer See, a small forest pond in the nature reserve, invites you to pause and take a break. The water sparkles in the light, while trees and reeds sway gently in the breeze. The path leads through dense vegetation that, in places, seems almost fairytale-like. It's worth taking a break here and enjoying the silence – apart from the occasional croaking of frogs or the buzzing of insects. A glance into the water reveals a fascinating world of water lilies and tangled branches that seem to float in the clear water. The paths here can be muddy in places, especially after rain, so sturdy shoes are recommended. But that's precisely what makes this place so charming – it remains untouched and untamed. Those seeking peace and quiet are guaranteed to find it here.
