Access to the Enschlucht Gorge. The Enschlucht Gorge is life-threatening!!! Bridges with missing and broken boards, broken road surfaces, extremely slippery, trees falling across... The warning at the entrance to the Enschlucht Gorge sounds like a mockery. Definitely use the alternative route.

If you're too tall, you'll have to walk through the water, so if the water level is higher, I'd make sure you wear the right shoes or take them off.

I walked up the gorge in July 2025, one day after heavy rain. Since the wooden walkway was gone and parts of the path had broken out and were muddy (of course only where it was most dangerous), it was really tricky to walk. And every time you think it can't get any worse...but in the end it was great.

A bench invites you to take a short rest. The water rushes loudly into the Wutach.
