Tastes differ and that's a good thing, but as a Kempten resident I have struck the Illerweg from Hegge via Martinszell to Stein from my list because it leads a lot through the forest and the mountain view is limited. I don't need to go to the beautiful Allgäu for routes through the forest. The route to Martinszell is one of my favorite routes.

Tastes differ. As a Kemptener, I will certainly never understand why there is a new highlight every 500 meters. It is a forest path without a mountain view that characterizes the Allgäu. The path could be anywhere in the world. A few hundred meters next to the Iller there are great side roads.

It's strange, you go cycling in the Allgäu and ride through the forest. On both sides of the Iller there are beautiful roads with little car traffic and mountain views.
