In August 2025 I was here again and around the beer garden there was a nice wooden wall as a windbreak.

I was here again on the way to Görisried, and the fresh gravel was still a bit loose. The tire tracks left by the cars were still very narrow.

We stopped at the Höllbauer restaurant and enjoyed delicious ice cream. Unfortunately, the Höllbauer restaurant will be closing permanently on October 20, 2025. It's a real shame, as it was a perfect place to stop for a bite to eat.

Natascha's poor view is as much a part of the Allgäu as cheese. The weather here is very changeable, and even I, a Kempten native, am rarely blessed with a clear view. If you want consistently good weather, you'll have to go to Florida. Whoever rated Natascha's photos negatively hasn't given any thought to the harsh Allgäu weather.
