Most people only know the view from the road into the Ochsenmoor. There is also the Ochsenmoor observation tower. It offers a very good overview of the moor from the other side. As it is located on the edge of the Erlenbruchwald, you have various habitats in view from there.

Directly next to the Seestrasse at the entrance to Tiemanns' motorhome parking area is the crane sculpture. This metal artwork depicts three cranes, as can be experienced in the thousands in the region in spring and autumn. Worth seeing!

We went there 3 times during our 5-day holiday. The ice cream tastes fantastic; the staff, all young, are very friendly.

Through the Ochsenmoor at high speed 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚀 Here it's also worth taking a delighted glance away from the 1A asphalt and looking left and right. With a bit of luck, you can see rare birds like the Northern Lapwing and the Curlew (easily recognizable by its long, curved beak).

You can eat very good and delicious ice cream here. They also offer kibbelinge for €7.00. A decent portion at a fair price (as of May 25).
