The old train station in Preten is now a café. Unfortunately, the café is still closed in March. Opening hours from April to October are weekends and public holidays (Sat and Sun, 12 noon - 6 pm). The café belongs to the neighboring Seebürger sheep farm (https://schaeferei-seebuerger.de/), which also offers tours of its operations.

A cute and pretty old station building on the old railway line from Brahlstorf to Neuhaus, lovingly maintained, the bike path leads along the old railway line. Not far from there, the largest structure along the route is the old riveted railway bridge over the Sude. The café is only open on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. When I was there it was closed due to Corona, too bad. The café in the old station building is operated by the Seebürger sheep farm in the season from April to September. https://www.schaeferei-seebuerger.de

Near the railway bridge, there is the station building Preten, which today serves as a café "Black Sheep" especially hikers. The old station buildings in Brahlstorf and Neuhaus are lovingly maintained. But a trip to the river valley offers above all delightful experiences in undisturbed nature. Several observation towers allow visitors to observe life in this biosphere reserve. The Café "Schwarzes Schaf" is open from April to the end of October at weekends from 12 to 19 o'clock, from July also on Fridays from 14 to 19 o'clock. https://metropolregion.hamburg.de/industriekultur/bruecken/7279054/eisenbahnbruecke-preten/
