The vessel belonged to Jacek Kwiatkowski, a sailor and social activist known especially to the local community. His story was described by Szczecin media years ago. Today, few remember it. “The catamaran of Szczecin sailor Jacek Kwiatkowski has been stranded on a sandbank near Lubczyna for over a year. The man lost his life's work and became homeless,” wrote “Głos Szczeciński” in the summer of 2011.

The water tower was built in 1935 on the site of the water intake. Water was drawn from deep wells using submersible pumps. Surplus water not pumped into the city network was collected in the tower's reservoir. The tower also served as a pressure equalization tank for the city network. The nearby hospital also drew water from the tower's reservoir. The architecture of the water tower is a very good example of functionalism, not devoid of historicizing features (corner lesenes - flat, vertical projections in the outer wall). It is an example of a water tower reservoir from the 1930s, when there was a renaissance of "column" type tower structures. As a result of military operations in 1945, artillery shells caused minor damage to the facade in the upper parts of the building. This damage was not removed as it did not affect the operational value of the tower. The original shape of the building was also maintained. In 1992, the renovation of the building was undertaken.

The Wolińska Gate in Goleniów is the only one preserved out of the four medieval city gates, and today it is one of the most important monuments in the city. Its origins date back to the second half of the 13th century, while in the 14th and 15th centuries it was expanded and gained its characteristic brick superstructure. The Gothic building, approximately 26 meters high, is distinguished by its pointed-arch passage, decorative blind windows, and stepped gables adorned with brick details. It formerly guarded the entrance to the city from the direction of Wolin, serving defensive and control functions. After thorough renovations, carried out among others in 2014–2015, the monument was given new functional uses. Its ground floor houses the Cultural and Tourist Information Center.
