Yes, unfortunately, the beer garden was no longer open in 2024. A gem along the bike path that is sorely missed.

The beer garden seems to have been closed for a while. Too bad, I had to leave without stopping.

A large selection of ice cream, a nicely decorated restaurant and attentive staff. The ice cream is very tasty, the cups are big enough, but the prices are a bit higher than elsewhere. Unusually, the menu has many ice cream cups for 2 - 4 people. But since these cups are also very individual, this unnecessarily limits the choice of cups for 1 person. What a pity! Given the large number of ice cream flavors, I would have liked an even larger menu for the cups as well.

Great cycle path that connects Breitungen with Wernshausen. Good surface and plenty of space

A beautiful view of the Werra, which flows here in a gentle bend. Since the Werra flows rather flat and wide here, you can easily observe the bottom and possible fish.
