Haineck Castle, nestled in the forest above Nazza, is a well-maintained ruin of a former hilltop castle. The accessible tower offers a fantastic view of the surrounding area. https://www.werratal.de/werratal_kultur/burgruine-haineck/

The old brickworks was converted into a cozy café in 1979. There you can also find the privately brewed beer of the Langlotz barn brewery from Frankenroda... delicious IPA

The "Café Gisela" is a family business through and through. The handmade cakes and tarts come from the Meyer bakery, founded in 1925, which Gisela's nephew Christian runs in the fourth generation. The daily changing delicacies are a dream. The idyllically situated Café Gisela on the Werra was opened in 1979 by the true "Frankenrödschen" Gisela Götze together with her husband Eckhard. With a great deal of craftsmanship, Eckhard transformed the building of the former brickworks into a gem where you can switch off in the middle of nature with a good cup of coffee. 👍1a 🍰

A well-restored and well-maintained castle ruin. Everything is secure, the tower is accessible via a staircase and there is even a toilet. The view from the tower is very beautiful.
