July 6, 2025, Großer Müggelsee

The beautifully shady forest path from Müggelseeperle to just before Müggelhort offers several access points to the water, but only a few spots that are truly suitable for swimming. It's clear that the quality of the water improves towards Kleiner Müggelsee (i.e., to the east). There are also lovely resting areas. You can see cormorants, but only in the distance. Kleiner Müggelsee is also definitely worth a visit. It has a great beach with plenty of sand and sun! There are also quieter spots, but due to the adjacent forest, they're all in the shade.

The mermaid is such a hottie. I proposed to her but she didn't respond.

Sit on top of the Müggelberg and enjoy the view. And without paying an entrance fee.

Very nice, small beach with a beer garden, café, event halls and boat rental. The lido's website can be found here: https://strandbad-wendenschloss.berlin/ and you can find the boat rental here: https:// Flotte-dahme.berlin/.

The Wendenschloß lido is an open-air pool with a beer garden, boat rentals and a snack bar. It is very spacious, which is why it is often not so crowded. Admission is very high at €7.
