The Steinhorster Becken is an artificially created nature reserve in the Delbrücker Land near Steinhorst in the north of the Paderborn district. The area, which is about 83 hectares in size, consists mainly of water surfaces of the dammed Ems river and offers a habitat for many water birds.

Larger estate of the Hülsemann family, which also operates this restaurant. Breakfast & Brunch or the beautiful experience buffet are highly recommended. Recently, trees have been planted as a cozy beer garden... Further information also at: facebook.com/Gut-Lippesee-116851911714767

On some days with the right visitors, you can endure it there, although the prices are not cheap, and for some food and drinks really overpriced......

The beautiful, late Baroque chapel was completed in 1753. The floor plan is interesting and above the door there is a large, detailed coat of arms.
