Partly gravel and quite a steep climb. We had to push the bikes several times. When we were there in mid-July there were also a few mosquitoes that attacked the cyclists who were pushing us. Still better than the alternative of riding on the road.

We drove the route in summer. The two tracks were easy to drive on and the spray was a nice way to cool down in the high temperatures.

I wouldn't ride up here with normal bikes! Steep and very rough ground. But a nice, albeit challenging descent with good brakes! In forestry it makes sense to take the barriers seriously. A friendly worker at the saw of the forester's house gave us the "ok".

Mighty, wide Vltava that the EV7 crosses.

Two narrow bridges help to avoid the fords. One went with bags, the other I preferred to take the bags off because of the stairs and the heavy bike. Stable and high! Will there be floods?
