Dynamo Stadium Walery Łobanowskiego (Ukrainian: Стадіон «Динамо» ім. Валерія Лобановського) - a football stadium located in the Ukrainian city of Kyiv. Dynamo Kyiv team plays their home games at the stadium. The original capacity of the stadium was 30,000, however, after modernization, the capacity of the stadium is 16,873. Due to the stadium's low capacity, Dynamo Kyiv plays its cup matches at the much larger Olympic Stadium. At the beginning of the 20th century, on the territory of today's stadium there were greenhouses, which supplied vegetables and fruit to the tsarist residence - the Marysinka Palace. There was also a very popular among the inhabitants - "Szato de Fler". In 20-30 years, in their place, the Kiev provincial council of the society "Dynamo" built several fields: basketball, volleyball and handball, as well as a football field with a wooden changing room and a gymnasium. The stadium today was built in 1932-1934. During World War II, the stadium was heavily demolished, and missiles and mines were found on its territory for many years. The "Dynamo" team played matches in 1956 at the rebuilt stadium. https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadion_Dynamo_im._Walerego_%C5%81obanowskiego_w_Kijowie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEHgU5lYgSM

The Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Верховна Рада "Supreme Council", Russian Верховная Рада, before 1991 also "Supreme Soviet") is the only legislative body (parliament) in the unicameral system of Ukraine according to the Ukraine's constitution. Dmytro Rasumkow (Sluha narodu) has been President of Parliament since August 29, 2019. The meeting place of the Verkhovna Rada is the parliament building of the same name in Kiev, which was completed in 1939. The Verkhovna Rada, which has existed since 1938, has 450 seats, of which 27 are currently permanently vacant. These are the seats that are supposed to represent the population of Crimea as well as parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, but these areas are currently not under Ukrainian control due to the Crimean crisis and the war in Ukraine since 2014, so elections for the Verkhovna Rada are there cannot take place.

The Motherland Statue (Ukrainian Батьківщина-Мати Batkivshchyna-Maty, Russian Родина-мать Rodina-mat) in the Ukrainian capital Kiev is a colossal statue that was erected in the Soviet Union to commemorate the victory of the Soviet armed forces in the Great Father . The first model of the statue was made by the sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich. After his death in 1974, the Ukrainian sculptor Wassyl Borodaj (1917-2010) continued the project. The artist Halyna Kaltschenko, who died in 1975, served him as a model for the monumental sculpture. [1] The statue is made of stainless steel, has a height of 62 meters and stands on a 40-meter high pedestal on the mountainside above the Dnieper. The total height of the monument is 102 meters, the weight is 500 tons. [2] To ensure stability, there is a special mechanical construction inside. The monument forms the center of a memorial that commemorates the victory of the Red Army in World War II. The shield, on which the coat of arms of the Soviet Union is depicted, is 36 square meters and weighs 13 tons. The sword is 16 meters long and weighs nine tons. The figure was to be inaugurated on May 9, 1980, the 35th anniversary of Victory. However, there were problems with the attachment of the platform and the use of a special crane was required to erect the figure. The inauguration took place on May 9, 1981 by party leader Leonid Brezhnev. It is possible to reach a small, barred viewing platform through an arm behind the shield. To do this, you have to climb a safety rope through a narrow shaft.

The monument created by Vasyl Sakharovych Borodai stands on a red granite slab in a round fountain on the Dnepr promenade in Navodnyzkyj Park and is made of forged copper and not brass, as the sculptor actually intended. The 4.3 m high sculptures of the men are filled with glass concrete, the 3.8 m high Lybiddie is hollow. [2] In 2010 the monument was renovated
