Final stretch, practically flat, on a comfortable and open track until reaching Palafolls. The route advances parallel to the Riera d'en Burgada and passes through the Can Casanovas area and next to the large building of Institut Font del Ferro, already at the gates of the urban center. Good stretch for a quiet ride after descending from Ciutadella.

A good starting or ending point for a bike route through the Alt Maresme and Montnegre. The station is part of the R1 line and you can reach it by train with your bike from both Barcelona and Blanes, allowing you to organize linear routes without needing to return to your starting point. From Malgrat, you can easily link up towards Santa Susanna, Pineda, and Tordera, or venture into the tracks and paths of Montnegre. The station is also very close to the sea. As a curiosity, it is part of the historic Maresme railway line, whose origin lies in the Barcelona–Mataró line opened in 1848, the first railway on the Iberian Peninsula. Cycling tip: a very practical option is to do part of the route by bike and use the train to return. Bicycles can travel on Rodalies, although at times of high occupancy, access may be conditioned by available space.

This church was left in the background when the population center moved towards the plain and the coast. It's not that it lost its religious importance, it's that the people left and it stayed. That's why today it has this strange air of a large place for so few people around, like an out-of-place piece that explains the change in the territory better than any sign.
