A beautiful, historic 16th-century manor house, surrounded by an idyllic park and a first-class golf course. The contrast between the old architecture and the well-maintained nature makes this place a perfect stop for photos. The surrounding paths are flat, well-maintained and offer great views of the Lower Rhine fen landscape.

This small, castle-like building, surrounded by centuries-old oak and beech trees, lies on the edge of the Krickenbeck lake district. It came into the possession of the Counts of Schaesberg in 1682 and was rebuilt around 1800. Today, the former manor is home to a golf club, which operates a golf course there, as well as a restaurant.

Great trails, but for a while now there's been a lot of sand, which makes the descents spongy. I don't know if this is intentional, so the trails aren't used anymore. It would definitely be better without the sand.
