Nice little bay - not the classic tourist sunbathing area.

La Fortaleza Visitor Center. The exhibition in the visitor center conveys the history of the archaeological site of La Fortaleza in three languages (Spanish, German and English). Very nicely arranged small museum, there is a 15-minute film on the history of the Guaches that shows the events of a day from the Guaches' point of view (as a day could have been). The entrance fee is €4, which is well worth it.

The climb here is quite comfortable. Great views of the valley, the Barranco. If you pass the red rock, you are almost at the top ;-).
