Dear @R.Bungartz, Dear @Karin, the tourist information team has just informed me that the addition "2 hours" has been taped in coordination with the city of Adenau and the Adenau Forestry Office. The hiking car park can therefore be used as such (again). Thanks for the tip! And thanks to the friendly ladies at the tourist office who took care of it immediately 👍😘!!!

In fact, there is a sign "Wanderparkplatz" and the state forestry office says the limit is two hours - which of course is nonsense for a hiker's car park. The Adenau tourist office will take care of it - hopefully it will be of some use, because I use the parking lot for walks more often and have never consciously noticed the sign (ashes on my head) 😱.

Somewhat remote parking lot that offers hikers a parking space. But be careful, you can only use the space for a maximum of 2 hours....

Small hiking car park for maybe 3 or 4 vehicles. In addition, according to the sign posted there, parking is only permitted for a maximum of 2 hours. A hiking car park with a maximum parking time of only 2 hours makes little sense to me, since you cannot start longer tours from here without exceeding the maximum permitted parking time.

Beautiful vantage point with a view over Wimbach to the Nürburg.
