Nur 17 Minuten nördlich von Amsterdam liegt ein Dorf, das die Zeit vergessen hat. Dunkelgrüne Holzhäuser, stille Wassergräben und Windmühlen, die sich noch heute drehen, genauso wie vor 300 Jahren.
Geschichte wird hier nicht ausgestellt, sie lebt. Die Mühlen mahlen echte Farbe, sägen Holz und pressen Öl. In der Käserei reift echter Gouda, und der Duft frischer Stroopwaffeln zieht einen unweigerlich in seinen Bann.
Wer Holland wirklich erleben will, kommt hierher.
