At the end of the Asón valley, there is a hiking car park just behind the top of the pass. Various tours start from there into the heart of the Parque Natural Collados de Asón. Apart from the access path (around 2km), this longer circuit combines many different landscapes and is therefore highly recommended. First the green pastures of Brenavinto (horses with cowbells), then a short climb to the spectacular limestone gorge Canal Honda, where there is finally some shade. Shortly afterwards, up through the Cañada Moncrespo (less gigantic, but also shady). Through low bushes and across meadows, finally to the summit "Cima del Colina", the highest point of the circuit at 1440m. Beautiful views in all directions, but today clouds were slowly gathering here. Comfortably downhill, past the Hoyón del Saco cauldron and then over the spectacular glacier abrasion platform Lastrera del Saco. Deep crevasses, so only accessible when visibility is good. The rest of the path leads comfortably downhill, sometimes over meadows, sometimes through forest.
