This city was also on the way today and on the recommendation of @Rainer Hike, we made a stop here. Arcos de la Frontera is the main town of the white villages and the old town is spectacularly located on a steep cliff. Unfortunately the fortress was closed today and there were a lot of construction sites in the city that kept us away from nice places 🤷‍♀️. It was still interesting. We particularly liked the route along the river with the view up to the city.
